Instant & Ready to Eat: the buying guide
Instant noodles in the 12-pack work out far cheaper than single packs. Ready-to-eat pouches are retort-sterilised so they keep 12 months unopened; heat in boiling water or a pan, not the pouch in the microwave unless it says so. Look at sodium per serving; the better mixes now list it clearly. Check the FSSAI number and a "best before" at least six months out.
