A family of four uses about six to eight 100 g soap bars a month, so the 4- or 5-pack is the economical buy. "TFM" on a soap bar is total fatty matter: 76% and above is a grade-1 soap that lathers well. Shampoo in the 650 ml to 1 litre bottle costs far less per wash than sachets. Check for a shelf life of at least 18 months and match the product to skin type: glycerine bars for dry skin, antibacterial for the monsoon.
